New children’s book published

Carolyn has always aspired to writing a children’s book.  With the release of “Are You Mitch?” she has realized this dream.   It is a story of a very special journey between a grandma and her grandson to find a pet, for his fifth birthday whom he has already named Mitch. Jefferson College of Health Sciences celebrates Spring Commencement

The commencement is scheduled for the second consecutive year in Elmwood Park’s Amphitheater on Friday, May 8, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Jefferson College students on the master’s, bachelor’s and associate degree levels will accept their diplomas and become alumni of the College during the event. These students will graduate from 14 different academic programs at the College. Jefferson College is proudly hosting this event at Elmwood Park, across Elm Street from its campus at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital.
