This year the popular Hollins Fall Festival will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, at the Hollins Branch Library, 6624 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke. The family-fun event includes music, food, and activities for children, teens, and adults. Roanoke County Police and Fire and Rescue personnel will be there with some of their fascinating public safety vehicles such as police cars, ambulances and fire trucks.
There is no charge to attend the Hollins Fall Festival. Parking is across Peters Creek Road from the library at Burlington Elementary School with free shuttles provided to and from the library. Limited parking is available at the library for cars with a current DMV-authorized handicapped placard or plate.
