The Ladies of Vision (LOV) Ministry invites you to their first pre-conference event – “Songs of Praise,” featuring great gospel singing by several gifted local ministers and choirs. This event will be hosted by Pastor Floyd Gregory and the Jerusalem Baptist Church family. Pastor Johnny R. Stone, of Hill Street Baptist Church will be the Worship Leader for the evening.
Participants include: Rev. Steve Henderson and the Voices of Roanoke, Pastor Emeritus Tommy London, Spirit of Unity Baptist, Pastors Floyd Gregory, Jerusalem Baptist, L. A. Lewis, Morning Star Baptist; Rev. Dwight Steele, Sr. of Pilgrim Baptist; Rev. Melton Johnson of First Baptist Church of Salem; Rev. Timothy and Dawn Wright of Morning Star Baptist and Pastor Amy Zigler of Mt. Zion A.M.E.
The event will start at 6:00 pm on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, located at 1014 Norfolk Ave. SW. There is no charge to attend, a “Free Will Offering” will be lifted allowing attendees the opportunity to give a tax deductible donation toward the expenses associated with the upcoming 2020 “The New Me ~ No More Scars” Domestic Violence Conference, scheduled for Saturday, April 04, 2020 at the Pilgrim Family Life Center. The offering will also assist in honoring the memory of a family member, neighbor, or friend who is/was a victim of Domestic Violence. Also hear a story from a survivor of Domestic Violence.
