Are you a male between 9 and 20 years of age, looking to better yourself and make a difference in your Community? Then we are looking for You! The Order of the Knights of Pythagoras (KOP) is a community-based mentoring organization composed of youths ranging between the ages of eight to twenty years inclusive, working under the sponsorship and personal supervision of Prince Hall Masons. This youth-led program promotes and develops leadership, responsibility and brotherhood. The program is dedicated to teaching the principles of manhood and dream building to young men by promoting family values, personal responsibility, civic awareness and leadership.
The program offers activities to include conferences, workshops, meetings, and community service. Some of the training may include, but not limited to character and leadership development, anger management and problem-solving skills, decision making, communication and interpersonal skills, toleration, respect, and courtesy, peer resistance skills nominating & voting process, team building exercises and academic excellence.
The youth also have the unique opportunity to serve in leadership roles under adult supervision, which aids in their development as community leaders.
