Roanoke Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. presents 5th Annual Sister 2 Sister Women’s Empowerment Workshop – Virtual
The Local Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will hold its 5th Annual Sister 2 Sister Women’s Empowerment Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 5, 10 am – 12 noon via Zoom Webinar.
With this year’s theme : “PASSION * PERSISTENCE * POWER.” Speakers include: Candace Dowell, senior vice-president, office leader, Small Business Specialist, and Diversity & Inclusion Official at Pinnacle Financial Partners; The Honorable Trish White-Boyd, Councilwoman for the City of Roanoke, founder and owner of Blue Ridge Senior Services; and Charnika Elliott, founder and CEO of Noah-Christian Academy, author and motivational speaker. Moderator for the event is our very own Megan Woods, WSLS10 news reporter.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a public service organization established in 1913 and has 1,000 chapters located within the US and abroad. The Roanoke Alumnae Chapter was chartered in May 1939; Tanisha J. Nash is current president.
