Wilson Sisters of Chesterfield, VA during the pandemic cared and shared with their creative ideas in Roanoke and Chesterfield. This summer while being inside, they decided to share their allowances and devote some of their time in helping to encourage others. They made and distributed 300 items, at different times during the summer, to elders in Nursing or Adult Homes and for younger children in Pre-K School. Each made her own emblem with a Track or Field Hockey design to go on the 300 items.
Mekayla designed two hundred washcloths and rubber ducks into a flower for the Pre-K, Mehloni designed one hundred sunflower cards for, the elders in a Nursing or Adult Home, with “positive sayings” and included a small hand sanitizer.
They are two honor roll students who enjoy church activities and are athletic achievers. Recently Mekayla participated in the VA State 6th Regional Cross Country Event. Mehloni was chosen as the MVP for her Field Hockey team. The proud parents E.C. (Dawn) Wilson and grandparents Anita Wilson and Llyod (Marie) Merchant are beaming…”Giving praises and Glory to God!”
