The Roanoke Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity recently donated 6 full Thanksgiving baskets to children and families in the Roanoke Community. Al Elliott and Al Meeks coordinated the annual initiative this year. Chapter members worked with several local churches to identify deserving families.
“The Thanksgiving food basket initiative is an annual event of the Roanoke Kappas which helps local families in need with groceries for Thanksgiving dinner,” said Al Meeks, event coordinator. “It’s great being able to help families to have a home cooked meal for the Thanksgiving holiday.”
