His passion for educating and mentoring students about the importance of learning music business, tips, and tricks for young artists to succeed in today’s market will be a strong asset to all the students.
“We are delighted to have Brian join our team,” says Jefferson Center’s Executive Director, Cyrus Pace. “His experience and dedication to mentoring students make him an excellent fit for our organization. We anticipate significant growth and development of our programs under his leadership.”
The Music Lab’s fall semester starts on Monday, August 28th and will feature a comprehensive curriculum that includes music business, music theory for songwriting, recording techniques, and music production. Then, on September 12th and 13th, renowned Columbian group “Cimarron” will be leading two student workshops at Jefferson Center before their big public performance in Shaftman Performance Hall that Wednesday night.
“I’m extremely excited about our upcoming education program this year. Not only will it provide me with an opportunity to share my experience and passions with young people, but it will also allow me to make a positive impact on their lives.” says Brian. “My goal is to establish the Harry and Lavon Webb Education Center as the primary destination for young aspiring musicians in the SWVA area.”
