The 47th anniversary of AARP Eureka Chapter 514, Inc. will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 7 with an Anniversary/Honor’s Banquet at the Holiday Inn Valley View & Conference Center starting at 5 p.m. Four members of the Chapter will be recognized at this event for their service to the Chapter and community for many years.
Honorees are: Mrs. Virgie Craighead, who serves as organization corresponding secretary and as chairman, Health and Nominating Committees; Rev. Paul Johnson, who served as Vice President, Chaplain and currently on the Publicity/Public Relation Committee; Mrs. Enolia Shaw, who served the Chapter as chairperson of the Hospitality and other committees; and Mrs. Viola Williams, who has served as secretary and several other committees.
Everyone is invited to please come join in showing appreciation to these dedicated individuals. Tickets are $30 adults; $12 for children 12 years and under; $300 per table. Advertising: Full page, $100; Half Page, $50; Quarter Page $25; Sponsorships $1,000 and $500.
