The Greater Roanoke Chapter of Virginia State University Alumni Association and Mr. James Bethel sponsored area students from Franklin County High School, Northside High School, William Fleming High School, Patrick Henry High School and Virginia Western Community College to tour the beautiful campus of Virginia State University on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
They also attended the football game between Virginia State University and Winston Salem State University along with seeing two great university marching bands. The students thoroughly enjoyed their time on the campus of Virginia State University along with Virginia State University alumni and others who made the trip.
Kathlyn Brown, a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and currently a junior at Virginia State University majoring in Computer Engineering gave the students, parents and alumni the campus tour.
