In keeping with its national theme – ‘listen to the children . . .enrich their lives” – The Roanoke Chapter of Chums, Inc.partnered with Toadally Kidz Daycare Centers to provide hardbound books, tissues, and wipes for all three centers.
Monica and Stark Jones operate the centers. In-kind donations were collected and distributed from Chum members as a service project in observance of Black History Month.
Chum members Faye Shareef, Pam Edwards, and Loretta Freeman delivered the requested items – along with colorful balloons – to the Peters Creek Rd Center and interacted with preschoolers in the four-year old class on February 25.
The local Chums look forward to engaging in future service activities with Toadally Kidz Daycare Centers.
