The Taubman Museum of Art is delighted to announce that Haley Toyota has become a generous 2016 co-sponsor of Free General Admission to the Museum. “This partnership benefits everyone who resides in and visits the Roanoke region,” says Della Watkins, executive director of the Taubman Museum of Art “we are most grateful for the generous support of both Haley Toyota and the AEP Foundation for their valued corporate support and keen commitment to arts, culture, and education in the region. Removing barriers of admission, the Museum welcomes all for the free enjoyment of the wonders of art and the inspiration it provides.”
The Museum invites everyone to enjoy the free community programming coupled with Dickens of a Christmas the first three Friday evenings in December (Dec. 4, 11 & 18). Enjoy live music, photos with Frosty, a holiday chalk mural, choirs, dance performances, and ornament and letterpress card making. Dickens at the Museum is sponsored by Coca-Cola and Member One Federal Credit Union.
In this month of giving, the Taubman Museum of Art is proud to unveil the new Special Exhibition Gallery. Funded by the Taubman Foundation, this gallery completes the building and is a gift to the community. All are welcome to attend the Community Celebration and Ribbon Cutting on December 18th at 5:30 p.m.
