Dozens of people gathered at William Memorial Baptist Church on Monday afternoon for the Roanoke SCLC Youth Service. Four well accomplished high school students from William Fleming and Patrick Henry High Schools were honored: Pictured rom left: Stephen Niamke, VP SCLC Chapter; Steven Wade, Safana Wajed, Aiesha Lewis, Jaheim Barnes, and Dr. Wilson, President Emerita SCLC Chapter gave an inspiring message relating the hard challenges in the Old Testament to today’s violence and chaos spreading across our country.
