President Trump’s political maneuver has exacerbated the world and created an immense concern among the U.S allies. From “ Make America Great Again” to cause chaos domestically and internationally, and instead to unity, Trump created more divisions. The world’s calculation in the new era of Trump is changing, and the U.S allies are reviewing their relationship with the U.S under Trump’s leadership. With Trump’s policy, the allies are facing uncertainty in their relationship direction.
Trump obviously insulted the U.S allies, NATO, by downplaying the troops in the Afghanistan war, ”They’ll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan… and they did, they stayed a little back, a little off the front lines.” Trump said speaking of NATO.
Not only with NATO, Trump has also damaged the U.S relationship with the long-time allies across the world, and his strategy in building peace has constantly been failing. Apparently, Trump is approaching the Middle East with a different strategy than his predecessor as for example, his vocal support of the recent Iranian people protesting the Islamic Republic of Iran’s regime and urging them to continue the protest. “Help is on its way” Trump’s message to the Iranian protesters.
However, Trump’s double standard strategy in the Middle East by calling and supporting the Iranian people to upraise against the Islamic regime of Iran while abandoning the U.S long time ally, the Kurds in Syria, and embracing the former Islamic terrorist leader/Syrian President now, Ahmad al-Sharaa, and allowing the Syrian Islamic regime to attack the Kurds in early January, was a complete unethical political game by Trump.
It is obvious that Trump’s support to the Iranian people does not emerge from his sense of humanity and empathy for the oppressed people under Islamic regime of Iran. Since 1979, The Islamic Republic of Iran has been fiercely ruling the people of Iran while the U.S being standby. However, after the Iranian rulers intensified their actions against Israel, including the exchange of strikes from both Iran and Israel in 2025, the U.S politicians were compelled to take a firmer action against Iran in defending Israel.
Israel is playing a major role in influencing the U.S foreign policy, and in fact that Israel is protecting the U.S interests in the Middle East. As former President Biden, then Senator, in 1986, said, “Were there not an Israel the USA would have to invent an Israel to protect her interest in the region.”
However, Trump’s approach to the ongoing events did not shift the path toward a safer world as it was predicted prior to his Presidency. It is noteworthy that former President Biden’s failure in many aspects became opportunities for Trump to appeal to the American voters and win the election. And now, under Trump’s administration, the chaos is continuing.
American people are standing in an intersection of the uncertainty among the political chaos and the conflict between the Democrats and the Republicans. The American politicians’ rigid mindset is creating disasters among the Americans, as they became the victims of political conflicts in the U.S.
