Local nonprofit L.E.A.P. (Learning Enrichment Autism Project) is expanding its mission to strengthen Autism awareness, advocacy, and community engagement across the region. With a growing network of families, educators, and community partners, the organization continues to build meaningful support systems for children and adults impacted by Autism.
Founded by Joanne Stuart Rogers, who serves as President, Founder, and CEO, L.E.A.P. was established with a core mission to encourage, enlighten, and empower individuals and families navigating Autism. The organization focuses on increasing awareness, promoting inclusion, and creating opportunities that help individuals thrive within their communities.
“Our goal is to bring people together and create environments where individuals impacted by Autism can thrive,” said Rogers. “By working collectively, we can help piece together the puzzle in ways that strengthen families and communities.”

A dedicated leadership team guides L.E.A.P.’s continued growth. Joanne Stuart Rogers leads as President, Founder, and CEO. Paula Ferguson serves as Vice President, Dyan Gaston-Grant serves as Secretary, Sandra Powell serves as Treasurer and Educational Coordinator, and Quentin Long oversees Social Media Management.
