On Wednesday April 29, lifetime Roanoke resident and project manager for the Melrose Rugby Neighborhood Forum, Rodney Brown, received a 30-year service award from Food Lion LLC. Brown traveled to Salisbury, NC to receive this award.
The award was presented to him at the Salisbury Food Lion Distribution Center corporate office where he met the president of Food Lion LLC and was given a memorable tour.
Brown was very proud to receive this award and stated that “Food Lion has inspired him to be a great leader in his neighborhood and they have always been there for him through good and bad times.”
