Communication, the key to unlocking the challenges of our generation, will be the primary focus of a Workshop on Racism set for Thursday, Feb. 26, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Gainsboro Library, 15 Patton Ave., N.W. Facilitators: Freda Cathcart, Communication leader, and Rob Wormley, TAP family educator.
The interactive workshop focused on learning communication skills to discuss sensitive topics, will be on racism and how we can overcome it to build healthy communities. Co-Sponsoring Organizations include TAP (Total Action for Progress), the Roanoke Branch NAACP, 5Forty Radio, Southeast Action Forum, More Love Movement/P15, and Unity of Roanoke Valley.
