The “Ladies of Vision” (LOV) invites the community to join them in praise and worship as they present their third Thanksgiving Praise Dance Cantata at 6 pm Saturday, Nov. 17 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Salem. The Cantata will be narrated by Pastor James Calloway of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Some of the most talented praise dancers in the community will participate in the cantata represented by First Baptist Church Cloverdale, Loudon Avenue Christian, High Street, Jerusalem and Hill Street Baptist Churches in memory of the late Rev. Nina Stone (one of LOV’s founding members), Regina Smith of Price Memorial AME Zion, Shiloh Baptist Church, Williams Memorial and Big Hill Baptist Churches, and Nevaeh Graham and the Mt. Zion Praise Dancers from Winston Salem, NC.
LOV is a domestic violence awareness faith based organization committed to increase the awareness of the evil of domestic violence and the resources available to address it in the community.
There is no charge to attend this event, but a “Free Will Offering” will be lifted that gives attendees the opportunity to give a tax deductible donation toward the expenses associated with LOV’s upcoming 2019 “The New Me ~ No More Scars” Domestic Violence Conference, scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2019, in the Pilgrim Family Life Center. The offering will also allow many to give in memory of a family member, neighbor, or friend who may have lost their life to domestic violence. You will also hear a story from a survivor of domestic violence.
The November 17th Thanksgiving Praise Dance Cantata promises to be a time of high praise and glory to the most high God. Join LOV for this special event at Shiloh Baptist Church, 210 South Market Street, Salem, VA 24153. The host pastor is Rev. Adrian Dowell.
LOV prays that you will come out to support the Ladies of Vision Ministry as well as all the anointed praise dance ministries as they use their gifts to give praises to the Lord in dance!
