The members of the Roanoke Alumni Chapter of NC A&T State University will celebrate the life and accomplishments of Dr. M.L. King at their 22nd Annual Breakfast on January 21, 2019. This year’s speaker will be Ellington T. Graves, Ph.D.
Dr. Graves has been on the faculty of Virginia Tech since 2000 and currently serves as Director of the Africana Studies Program. He is a native of Southampton County, VA and is married to Cheryl Burrell-Graves of Baltimore, MD. They have a 13-year-old daughter, Tyler.
Dr. Graves is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi who believes that we need to confront the challenge that Dr. King presented our society and community. We look forward to hearing more from him on January 21, at Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. Breakfast begins at 8 a.m. with tickets at $30.00 per.
