Miranda-Lynn Wood has been accepted in Roanoke City Public Schools’ Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) Program.
Miranda-Lynn a rising first-grader, has been accepted in the RCPS STEAM Program at Fishburn Park Elementary School which establishes a strong foundation of academic success for students. She is active in youth ministries at Shiloh Baptist Church of Salem, and participates in various recreational league sports, ballet, and gymnastics.
Miranda-Lynn is the daughter of Duriel and Geonna Adeka Wood; and granddaughter of Roanoke’s local artist Dyke, Sr. and wife, Faye Claytor-Wood; Danville Deputy City Manager Earl B. Jr. and Roanoke City Clerk Stephanie Moon Reynolds; and Karen Lynn Puller.
