Congratulations to all the Tigers Elite competitors who will be competing at the Nationals in Greensboro and the Commonwealth Games in Lynchburg, VA!
Xavier Mitchell, 12-year-old rising 7th grader at North Cross Middle School who competed with his team, Tigers Elite, at Hampton University in the Regional Junior Olympics for track and field July 5-8.
Xavier qualified at the Regionals to compete in the USATF National Championships for Long Jump, 400-meter dash and 800-meter dash at A & T State University in Greensboro, NC on July 23-29.
He is the son of Tiffany Mitchell and Eddie Latimer and is following in his mother’s footsteps who ran track for William Fleming High School 1998-2001 under the direction of Coach Rudy Dillard and cousin Coach Robert Vineyard.
