Keisha Walker will be one of 10 nationwide who will be attending the Association of Women’s Health Obstetic Nneo Netal Organization (A WHONN Org).
She is Director of Women & Infant Services at Adventist Healthcare-White Oak Medical Center. In her current role, she is responsible for operations and processes for Labor & Delivery. Antepartum, Postpartum, and Level II NICU. She also provides strategic and day-to leadership to ensure the highest quality of care for the patients served. She is a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse from the University of Texas-Arlington and has earned certifications in nursing Leadership, inpatients obstetrics and electronic fetal monitoring.
In 2019, Keisha headed the transition of her department to a new medical center. She worked collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and interior designers to ensure that the unique needs for each unit were met. Her nursing career has been dedicated to high quality, reliable systems of care for women and newborns.
Keisha is a 1995 graduate of William Fleming High School, the daughter of the late Patricia B. Walker, and granddaughter of Clarice E. Walker.
