In partnership with Men’s Wearhouse, Aramark, and TAP Into Hope, Family Service of Roanoke Valley will give away hundreds of suits on Friday, Oct. 16 at the agency’s location on 360 Campbell Drive, SW. The suits were donated through the Men’s Wearhouse Give a Suit drive in July. The annual event collects men’s suits and accessories to be given away to those in need. Family Service is proud to be the recipient agency for the suit drive.
“Being able to help local men find clothing they need to go on job interviews, wear to family functions, and feel better about themselves meets our mission of strengthening families, restoring hope and healing trauma,” said Sharon Thacker, president and CEO. “Because of the generosity of our partners, we are able to help men in our area look their best, be their best and do their best.”Family Service offers individual and group counseling to individuals, couples and families, as well as serving children and older adults through the agency’s prevention and outreach programs.
