The Geraldine N. Davis Scholarship, endowed by the father/son team, Reginald E. and Darrell A. Davis, proudly announces its first award recipient as Zoe´ B. Jones. The presentation was made during the morning worship service on July 19, at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Zoe´ resides in Fuqury-Varina, NC and is a graduate of Harnett Central High School with a 3.0 GPA. Her future plans include attending Virginia Union College and majoring in Biology before pursuing further education in the science of optometry and becoming an optometrist. She is the daughter of Lester and Sharna Jones, the granddaughter of James and Carolyn Ferrell and a member of the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church family where Rev. Cedric E. Malone is pastor. All join in wishing her God speed as she continues to pursue higher goals.
