On Sunday, June 5 the two 2016 high school graduates were recognized and presented to the church after an inspiring and uplifting tribute by First Lady Karen Churn. Rayshawn Rosaarion who graduated from Cave Spring and Thomas Wilson, Jr. who graduated from Lord Botetourt. Thomas received an Advanced Diploma and a 3.45 GPA, a full unrestricted scholarship from HSBC.
Graduating with the Baccalaureate degree is Sierra N. Ashford from North Carolina A&T with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Minor in Criminal Justice. Sierra was placed on the Dean’s list for several semesters and graduated with an overall GPA of 3.0.
Maya Elizabeth Chapman graduated from Virginia Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a Minor in professional writing. Maya a cum laude graduate with a 3.5 GPA, was placed on the Dean’s List every semester during her four years at Virginia Tech.The High Street Church Family is extremely proud of our graduates!
