It is with great joy and pride that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Olivia Davoll, president of Roanoke NAACP Youth Council. Her dedication to her community and her commitment to creating a brighter future have not only inspired us but have also shone brightly in her own life.
Davoll, a senior at Northside High School, daughter of Alwyn and Deborah Davoll, and sister of Danielle and Allyson, has been an integral part of our NAACP Youth Council for several years. On October 13, she was crowned Northside High School Homecoming Queen, a well-deserved recognition of her exceptional character.
In addition to her recent honor, Olivia plans to attend Virginia Western Community College and later transfer to a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Her educational pursuits align perfectly with our principles of empowerment and knowledge.
Olivia’s dedication extends beyond her academic pursuits. She is actively involved in several organizations, including the Key Club, Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). These involvements showcase her commitment to personal growth, community service, and leadership development.
Furthermore, she is an active member of the Morning Star Baptist Church, where she is involved in both the Youth Usher and Youth Ministry, exemplifying her strong values and spiritual engagement.
Congratulations once again, Olivia, on this remarkable achievement. The NAACP Youth Council family is immensely proud of you and looks forward to witnessing your continued success.
