Chill seekers needed to participate in Polar Plunge® Winter Fest benefiting Special Olympics Virginia.
In Virginia, we can’t deliver on the dreams of our athletes without enormous community support of the Polar Plunge® Winter Fest, February 28 at Bisset Park in Radford. To date only 23% of the $50,000 event fundraising goal, which supports more than 30,000 athletes and volunteers in Virginia has been met. Together we can create more champions.
The 2015 Polar Plunge® Winter Fest, presented by the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Virginia, the City of Radford Police Department and Radford University, kicks off plunger check-in Saturday, Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Bisset Park in the New River Valley, with the actual “plunge” taking place at 12:30 p.m. (media also invited to attend this year’s Plunge).
