This summer, Total Action for Progress (TAP) has partnered with Feeding America Southwest Virginia, Williamson Road Church of The Brethren, and Casa Latina – Roanoke Valley to provide free meals to children within the Roanoke community. The Kids Summer Food Program will be hosted every Thursday, June 16 to August 11 at various locations in the Roanoke Valley. Due to safety concerns related to the current health pandemic, each meal will be delivered through drive-through pickup only.
Each distribution date, 100 meals will be available on a first come, first served basis. Meals are eligible for any child age 17 or younger. Each child must be present when picking up a meal and should be accompanied by an adult.
