People in our community are suffering from invisible wounds, and thanks to private support they do not have to suffer in silence.
At Family Service of Roanoke Valley they find help when and where needed. Through Counseling, Prevention and Supportive Services, mental health professionals assist people to recover from challenging situations. The upcoming special event Celebrity Tip Off allows members of our community to invest in their neighbors and make mental health care available to all.
To kick off Mental Health Awareness Month in May 2017 and raise funds and awareness Family Service is holding the third annual Celebrity Tip Off on Thursday, April 27 at 6 p.m. at the White Room at Blue 5 Restaurant. The event is sold out, but the celebrities are raising tips online to help heal the invisible wounds of mental health.
The agency provides mental health counseling, prevention, case management and more to people of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay.
