New Horizons Healthcare (NHH) is closing its Valley View location, 5060 Valley View Rd effective August 9, 2024. While the New Horizons Valley View location has allowed convenient added access to services for the community through the COVID era, the New Horizons leadership team and Board of Directors made the difficult determination that the Valley View satellite is unsustainable in the post-pandemic Health Center landscape.
New Horizons patients will be actively supported in receiving care with the full array of services at the main location, 3716 Melrose Avenue, NW. Services at the Pediatric Dental location at 1502 Williamson Road will continue without interruption.
This change unfortunately means some NHH staff were laid off. Each of the ten affected employees has been offered generous severance packages. NHH Human Resources is fully available for assistance with job placement.
