Pilgrim Baptist Church recently honored 3 of its high school graduates at its 10:45 am service. Pastor Steele offered words of encouragement to the graduates and charged them all to keep God first in their lives and to do their very best at college and in their future endeavors. The Pilgrim Baptist Church family is very proud of its 2023 graduates:
Camron Austin–William Fleming HS, will attend Virginia Western Community College, mother-Danielle Austin, grandparents-Joe and Dot Austin; Zahire Hodnet-Penn–Patrick Henry HS, will attend Johnson C. Smith University, aunts & uncle–Deborah Penn-Robinson, Tracy Penn, Theo, and Renae Taylor; and Joshua Hunt–William Fleming HS, will attend Virginia Western Community College, parents–Bobby and Sandra Hunt.
