Gamma Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., and its subsidiary, Que House Inc. a 501( C ) 3 charitable foundation, proudly announced the awarding of $8,000 in Scholarships to 5 local high school students for 2018.
Recipients of the awards are: Alex West (William Byrd H.S.; James Madison University); Jeanette Sako (William Byrd H. S.; University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill); (not pictured) Omar Nathaniel West (Patrick Henry H.S.; Virginia Tech); and Phazhon Tyrese Nash (Northside H.S.; George Mason University).
Que House Inc. also awarded its first recorded recurring scholarship to Neya Smone Williams, a recent graduate of Hidden Valley H.S. In addition to completing her high school degree she has concurrently obtained her associates degree from Virginia Western Community College along with completion of 325 observational hours of service at Carilion and Salem Veterans Affairs.
