The Roanoke Moles recently held an, “Evening of Cheer” at the Holiday Inn Ordway. At this stellar dinner event, the Moles honored three citizens with Resolutions from the National Organization for outstanding accomplishments to the Roanoke area over the years.
Moles Gloria Randolph-King, Resolution chair and President Carolyn Patterson presented the resolutions.
Selected for the honors were the late Carl Tinsley, whose wife, Mrs. Yvonne Tinsley and family accepted the resolution. Rev. & Mrs. Enos Glaspie Jr. accepted the resolution for the late Rev. Enos Glaspie, Sr. and the third was presented to Roanoke Tribune editor Claudia Whitworth.
Moles also inducted the following four ladies to membership and they were introduced at the event. Invited to membership were, Dr. Jennifer Alston, Sandra Barlow, Rhonda Pierson, and Treasure Staples. These ladies will be an asset to this distinguished organization.
All in attendance enjoyed an evening of gaiety, camaraderie, and cheer. The “Hot Sauce Band” provided music for the evening.
