Organizers of the third annual Star City Sweetness are excited to have many people coming to the Roanoke City Market Building on October 8, to satisfy one’s sweet tooth with treats from dessert vendors across the Roanoke Valley in support of Brain Injury Services of Southwest Virginia (BISSY).
BISSY, Roanoke City Market Building and the Office of Delegate Sam Rasoul have teamed up to host Star City Sweetness, providing an opportunity to purchase a tasting pass to try desserts from many vendors and win great prizes in a raffle while bringing attention to the great work that Brain Injury Services of SWVA does in the community.
The event will take place on the Roanoke City Market Building Mezzanine in Market Square, downtown Roanoke on Saturday, Oct. 8, between 1- 4 p.m., to raise funds for Brain Injury Services of Southwest Virginia to continue providing resources for people in our community, while residents discover delicious treats from around the valley.
