The Scholarship Ministry of Sweet Union Baptist Church, along with its members, families, and friends is elated to announce the 2022-2023 Scholarship recipients.
Elijah Trigg graduated from Northside High School and will be attending Virginia Western Community College majoring in Physical Therapy. Elijah received the Edward T. Burton Scholarship 1st Place Award.
Taylor Franklin, a Patrick Henry High School graduate will also be attending Virginia Western Community College where she will major in Business Administration. Taylor received the Edward T. Burton Scholarship 2nd Place Award.
Joshua Wooten graduated from Roanoke Valley Christian School and will be attending Radford University where he will be majoring in Health Science and Human Services. Joshua received the Rucker-Reed/Ford Memorial Health Science Scholarship.
As these young people step out onto a new journey, they are being sent with love, faith, and prayers.
