Please come join Total Action for Progress (TAP) for this year’s Black History Month Celebration. This year, we’ll continue our journey through Roanoke’s historically Black neighborhoods by exploring the histories of: Burrell Hospital, Old North East, “Tank Town,” Pinkard Court, and Old Fields.
This event is produced by TAP’s youth education students, and the soul food luncheon will be provided again by Morning Star Baptist Church.
This free event will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19 and the public is encouraged to attend.
Be sure to register by Tuesday, Feb. 12 by emailing: tapintohope.org/event/taps-2019-black-history-month-event/
to ensure everyone has enough to eat. A $5 suggested donation can be made online when registering.
