The Roanoke Chapter of The Links and Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Service have partnered to support project “Meals for Heroes. The group will provide meals to the healthcare providers on the frontline battling the novel Coronavirus disease. The program is being sponsored by The Roanoke Law Association and The Shenandoah Club Members, with meals prepared by The Roanoke Shenandoah Club.
Messages of gratitude and encouragement for our public heroes are always appropriate but as we live in the era of the Coronavirus epidemic each day nurses, technicians, doctors and support staff are caring for our most vulnerable populations.
As a gesture of gratitude and admiration, The Roanoke Chapter of The Links, President Carolyn Patterson, and Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Service President Connie B. Steele partnered to provide funds to support “Meals for Heroes,” a project which will provide meals for the healthcare providers and support staff of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital to simply say “Thank You.”
