The Marcus M. Wilson Scholarship Fund awarded three outstanding graduating seniors in May. MMWSF would like to congratulate our 2016-2017 recipients for their academic excellence.
Bryanna Menefee from William Fleming High School will be attending Virginia Tech majoring in pre-meds/Biology. Morgan Hancock will be attending Ferrum College majoring in Education/Math and Nhi Nguyen, University of Virginia majoring in nursing. Both students are from Patrick Henry High School. There have been 19 scholarships awarded over the past 6 years.
The 2017-2018-scholarship awards will be held at both Roanoke City High Schools in September. The goal is to continue to help as many students as possible. With your help this can be achieved.
