UnitedHealthcare is seeking to hire 100 customer service advocates in Roanoke who will help customers across the country who are covered by or interested in UnitedHealthcare Medicare health insurance plans. Candidates who apply and are accepted can begin training as early as July 18, 2016.
All of the positions will be based at UnitedHealthcare’s office at 3645 Thirlane Road in Roanoke. The positions are full-time, and employees have flexibility to work any eight-hour shift during normal business hours of (7 a.m.-11 p.m.) seven days a week.
The first training sessions for those hired will begin Monday, July 18. The six-week paid training sessions will teach new hires how to use UnitedHealthcare’s innovative Advocate4Me model to work on the customer’s behalf and answer their questions or solve a complex problem. Using resources that include top experts in medical, behavioral, clinical and pharmaceutical sciences, plus cutting-edge technology, the customer service advocate will be trained to deliver a high-quality customer service experience.
