Women United for Community Action (WUCA ) a group of women with talents, skills and diversity, is proud to announce an award of $2,000.00 to ACTSO (the Youth Component of the NAACP) which was raised from its 2015 Fashion/Luncheon Show.
The organization uses the following criteria to determine which youth group will receive financial consideration. The applying group must have beneficial programs directed by volunteer leaders that improve or enhance the quality of life of the youth of the Roanoke Community. Mrs. Doris Ennis, a retired educator and her committee of WUCA members make the final recommendation.

The organizer of the group (WUCA) is Mrs. Carolyn Patterson, who was recognized by the ACTSO Youth Group as a Community Impactor this past spring.
