We are proud to congratulate Jada Robinson on receiving several scholarships to help further her education. Jada graduated this year as a Distinguished Scholar Honor Student from William Fleming High School and receiving a R.O.T.E.C Outstanding Achievement Scholarship, Schneidermen Scholarship, Black Caucus Presbyterian of the Peaks Award and a Highlander Distinction Scholarship from Radford University where she will be attending this fall and plans to major in Psychology. Jada is involved in several organizations including the National Honor Society, National Art Society, Future Business Leaders of America and DECA along with being Captain and an outstanding team member of the Varsity Soccer team since her freshman year. Jada is deeply active in helping her community with involvement in Teen United Way, NAACP Youth Council and is a Youth Leader at Fifth Ave. Presbyterian Church where she is a 4th generation member stemming from her late great-grandparents Walter and Irene Nowlin who were faithful members joining back in the 1920’s. The current Pastor is Rev. Vernie Bolden, Jr. Funds were provided from her church family to help with the cost of some books and materials also.
Jada’s parents Clarence and Lisa Robinson as well as all of her family and friends are so very proud of her join in wishing her the very best in her future goals!
