September 17 is Constitution Day. Join Colonel William Preston Chapter, NSDAR members at Freedom Plaza, the Roanoke Valley War Memorial, to remember Patriots and ring bells at 4pm. In case of rain, the celebration will be inside Greene Memorial United Methodist Church. Not able to attend Freedom Plaza? Ring bells at 4:00 p.m. for one minute where ever you are!
September 24 is Movie Day. The documentary, The American Constitution, is FREE at the Grandin Theatre. Popcorn and Drinks are NOT included. The one-hour movie will be shown at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. There will be a panel discussion by local legal experts after the 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. movie.
