The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 2015 Business & Technology Showcase on February 11, at the Salem Civic Center. This event will be a Business after-hours from 4:00-5:30 p.m. and open to the public from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Meet local business leaders and learn about how advances in technology can help your professional needs.
New for 2015, the Business & Showcase will have Commonwealth Document Shredding on site. Guests may bring up to three boxes of shredding material. The Chamber is also partnering with ITT Technical Institute to offer an electronics recycling area. Guests may bring laptops, desktops, cell phones, printers, etc.
Enjoy “Taste of the Valley” where local restaurants and caterers gather with free samples of their best dishes for you to try! During the Business after hours there will be free seminars featuring: Ethos Technologies an Evolution of Blue Ridge Copier, and Sophos Security.
4:30-5:00 p.m. – Ethos Technologies an Evolution of Blue Ridge Copier presents “How to Protect Against Identity Theft and Data Loss.”
5:00-5:30 p.m. – Sophos Security presents “Data Disaster and Recovery Planning.”
