The Roanoke Fire-EMS is teaming up with the American Red Cross, Hope Worldwide, and the Roanoke Police Dept. to “Take it to the Streets for Fire Safety!” for the 4th year.

This is an event to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and an opportunity to share fire and life safety with our community as well as crime prevention tips. The meeting will start at Roanoke Fire-EMS Station 5, 1920 Orange Ave., NW, on Monday, January 19, at 11:00 a.m. for a safety briefing then it will head to the Forest Park Community off of Melrose Ave. to share valuable safety information. The media is also welcome to join in.
