City and other officials will join the LAHS Steering Committee for the ground-breaking ceremony of future construction of the LAHS Monument Wall on the grounds of the now Lucy Addison Middle School. The wall will serve as a lasting tribute to alumni and a testimony to Ms. Lucy Addison, former high school faculty and staff.
A “Jazz Concert” will be held as a tribute to the late Ms. Lucy Addison on Friday, March 20, from 6-8:30 p.m. at Lucy Addison Middle School. The concert is a tribute to Ms. Lucy Addison and a fundraising benefit for the LAHS Monument Wall Fund. Featured will be: Elmer Coles and the BLTD Holiday Band, The Patrick Henry Jazz Ensemble, The William Fleming Ensemble, Amanda Peterson, Dominique Thomas and Bernadett Jones Brown. Tickets are $15 for adults and $6.00 for students (through 18 yrs).
