Carisa Stallworth has been named Director of Payroll for Roanoke City Public Schools starting February 1.
She began her career with the district in 2014 as a staff accountant.
Carisa graduated from Mary Baldwin College, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. She further received a Master’s degree in accounting from Walden University.
She is a member of the Virginia Association of School Officials (VASBO) as well as the Virginia Government Finance Officers Association (VGFOA).
Additionally her passion for continuing education has inspired her become an evening teacher for the GED Program from 2015 through 2018.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Herman, their three sons, family and friends.
