The 50th Anniversary of Eureka Chapter 514, Inc. will be observed this year with an Anniversary and Honor’s Banquet at the Holiday Inn (Valley View), on Friday, Nov. 9, at 5:00 pm. Tickets for the Banquet are $40.
The banquet will honor and show appreciation to three dedicated and faithful Officers/Members who have served AARP Chapter for many years: Eva Dudley, secretary; Jacqueline Robinson, Committee chairperson for Community Services and public Relations and Publicity, and Jessie Powell, Co-Chaplain.
Volunteers in the AARP Chapters deserve a big thank you for all of their hard work and service.
Gene Luck, director of Diversity Multi-Cultural Outreach of the Virginia AARP State office will be the event speaker.
With the motto, “To serve, Not To BE Served,” AARP Eureka Chapter 514 Inc. invites persons age 50 and older to come join in volunteer service to our individual neighbors, community organizations and neighborhoods.
