Aladdin Temple #111 awarded Miss Jada Vernon a graduate of Salem High School their scholarship for 2022. Jada Vernon is a National Honor Society member. She delighted in the rifle and flag corps of the Pride of Salem Band. She won the “Miss Jabberwock” contest two years ago and has the title of Miss Jabberwock for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. until another contest can be held. She is attending Upward Bound at Virginia Tech University until the first week of August. She will attend North Carolina A &T.
