A few members are present as Jackie Bledsoe co-chair of the Playground Committee for the Kiwanis Club of Roanoke receives $1,000.00 toward a playground for northwest Roanoke that the Kiwanis Club is building near Lansdowne apartments (much need in that location). Also a $1,000.00 donation was given to the American Diabetes Association and $1,200.00 was donated to the American Cancer’s Relay for Life and a nice Scholarship will be awarded to a high school Senior it was an evening filled with fun and fellowship.
