The culture of mocking and degrading people due to aging and along with associated mental and physical infirmities has become a common practice in America. Various famous figures and influencers indeed use public platforms and social media to blatantly debase those who represent different beliefs and ideologies.
In this American era of division and hostility, personal attacks have overwhelmingly taken the lead in every argument as logic and subjective debates have faded from society. Apparently, President Trump’s depiction and mockery of his rivals and those who disagree with him is a prime example of poor leadership for the nation.
The American politicians are generally the major factor in devaluing America and establishing a negative perception on American people. The leaders’ behavior has reflected on the public to a degree that America per se became a target of criticism and a source of hate. Hating America does not stop at one point with one group but it is indeed pervasive with more Americans becoming alienated from the nation.
As the head of the nation, the president has always been the main person to be blamed for every action that occurred, which means Trump has the responsibility to either narrow the gap of division or create a disaster and anger for people, and the latter can obviously be seen.
Apparently, the famous American actor, Robert De Niro, is not immune from the anger and frustration caused by President Trump’s actions. But instead of expressing his indignation over Trump’s policy, De Niro targeted the entire nation and linked it to Trump. “I can’t love a country that takes healthcare away from millions of people and uses that money to enrich their pals in the Trump-Epstein class…” Di Niro said in an event.
It is undeniable that Trump’s policy has failed to boost the U.S economy for the average American; his harsh language caused a greater division among American people, and his inability to compromise with the other side of the aisle to solve the continuous American issues, such as healthcare and affordability.
But America as a nation per se did not contribute to American agony as in fact the ruler and the leaders throughout history have generated wars that caused bloodshed. The movement of anti-America will less likely to have an impact on the U.S policy and shift the path to a better direction. That means such a movement will only bring destruction to America.
The distinguish between Trump and America is realizing that his actions and behavior are not necessarily examples of America. Therefore, America should not be blamed and hated for Trump’s actions.
